Many aspects, especially those involving slower-moving planets, can influence several days, especially when approaching their exact date. Many will last for days beyond if the planets are moving very slowly.

  • The theme for this week is high-peaked creativity. There is color and imagination and action behind the dreams. Romance takes its next step into commitment, and the drive to fuel the future and shake off the past will shift our attention to some major headlines.
On Saturday May 6, 2006, Venus was in a special position as she joined with the "me" end of the relationship thread itself - the north node of the Moon. The "you" end is located at the south node of the Moon. Venus continues to contribute to the coming together of lovers and partners, some long-term, some shorter, and Saturn's trine adds stability to those entering into a commitment. Venus is also prominent on May 10th as she awakens the recent eclipse degree 8° Aries, from March 29th. Hot Mars chimes in today as he tops the bill with a three-piece grand water trine formed with Mars in Cancer, expansive Jupiter in the intense zone of death, sex and taxes while in Scorpio, to exciting Uranus in mysterious Pisces. The trio began the grand trine early this morning and it will remain within orb of one degree until May 9th, Tuesday. Jupiter and Uranus hold their end of the trine together until Thursday. The Sun forms a 90° square to Neptune, the God of the Sea on Wednesday, May 10 that may bring wet weather, confusion and misguided direction and actions. Major blunders are likely with unrealistic romantic notions. Oil companies and all matters involving ocean liners and ships for commerce and defense are ruled by Neptune. That's only the beginning of the story of this Sun and Neptune square that is accompanied by a slew of sneaky activities. The square creates a cloak for bad behaviors with an all too familiar repeated pattern. The culprit is disruptive, bringing international attention either by natural or a man-made hand, set off around 12:42 p.m. (US Eastern time) when the Sun and Moon are 150° apart, acting as a trigger.

There are so many interesting events that prime this mysterious well as the Sun at 19° Taurus (an old eclipse degree from 1994) steps on the north node of Mars - kind of like the nose of a tiger. He didn't see it coming because Neptune was blinding his view. More interestingly the south node of Mars is at the opposite point, 19° Scorpio, which occurs only on this day each year. With so much contributing to blind spots and clandestine behavior, I would keep a heads-up for breaking stories on all fronts. Mars, the planet of aggression and war, remains out-of bounds until May 17th. The limits of his boundaries are set by the Sun as the earth tilts on its axis and the Sun reaches 23° 26' maximum north or south in declination. (You see, all this talk about declination is very personal to the earth, unlike traditional aspects that are not mathematically attached to the earth's tilt, and therefore create a greater personal impact.) This week Mars is at 24° 02' north declination. Its will be a long week for an important Full Moon to develop next Saturday May 13th, as last week's First Quarter Moon in Leo, was on May 5. The 22° 23' Scorpio Full Moon emerges as the Loch Ness Monster because it renews the Mars retrograde station degree (23° Taurus) from October 1, 2005. If you have been trying to complete an important piece of work in your life that was derailed by the Mars retrograde last fall, then this may be the week that allows you momentum to deliver old projects and agendas and then move on. It's an accident-prone week with hot everything: fevers, hot deals, hot heads and hot ideas. Get plenty of rest and take your immune boosters. Too much Mars wears down the immune system. Aside from all the potential chaos I think it will be a highly productive week.

  • Moon Signs & Daily Summaries
A Day Rating may not describe the feeling or your experience of that day but give details about the end result of your actions taken under that Moon sign period. A Moon sign period begins when the Moon enters a new sign and remains in effect until it leaves that sign. A Difficult Day can bring unwanted complications for the end result of your objectives. By choosing a Good Day and before the void of course Moon period, you increase you chances for a smoother and more favorable outcome. The day is rated by the last aspect from the Moon to a planet before it leaves the sign. That last aspect begins the void of course Moon period. Your activities are considered to be under the umbrella of the Moon sign that changes every couple of days. Days with the same Moon sign often carry the same day rating for the couple days the Moon occupies that sign.

    There some very important exceptions:
  • When a planet changes signs, the day rating can change.
  • When a planet changes direction, the day rating can change.

  •
These instances are referred to as a refranation, indicating that you are to expect someone to leave before you complete your objectives or the situation totally changes due to new and unseen developments or reversals.

General Notes On Leo MoonsLeo ... changing to
    General Notes On Virgo MoonsVirgo
Starts with a Good Leo Moon that is void of course at 5:45 a.m. until 8:20 a.m. when you can restart another Good Day rating with the Virgo Moon right through Monday at 6:13 p.m., with its last aspect in a very beneficial parallel to Venus at that time. Venus is gaining more attention as she joins the north node of the Moon. This has not brought all good news about lovers reuniting and or money from heaven. Some have suffered losses, theft or the wrong choices. For others signs of much needed relief and benefits can be expected.

    General Notes On Virgo MoonsVirgo
A Good Day for this Virgo Moon. At 5:12 a.m. energetic Mars motivates change involving travel, education and a push toward freedom. This aspects assists any business deal. Aside from Venus' boost to relationships, another relationship indicator, Pallas is an asteroid that represents wisdom, good counsel and mostly repeated patterns is turning retrograde. She represents the communication strength of relationships. Pallas turns retrograde at 9:21am until August 24th. Venus and Neptune are semi-square (45°) and are not very honest about money or things. Look after your purse before and after 11:06 a.m. There is more support for relationships with the Sun and Juno, asteroid of marriage, sextile at 4:43 p.m. At 8:37 p.m. Mars is trine Uranus including the last of the three planets needed to form a grand water trine. At 9:24 p.m. Saturn is parallel Pallas, allowing for an opening for peace talks supported by a 10:56 p.m. Venus trine Saturn. For personal levels try to secure agreements. Mercury is unhappy with his thoughts and information with a square to Saturn at 11:01 p.m. Don't spend too much time worrying as Mercury semi-sextile Venus follows shortly at 11:06 p.m. with a soothing solution.

    General Notes On Libra MoonsLibra
A Good Day for this Virgo Moon until its void of course Moon period beginning at 6:13 p.m. until 9:09 p.m. when the Moon enters Libra. After that begins a Good rating The major chunk of this day is easy-flowing with no major aspects in exact formation, though I doubt any day this week will be uneventful. This is a good day to negotiate for your projects.

    General Notes On Libra MoonsLibra
A Good Day rating for this Libra Moon with the last aspect sextile (60°) Pluto on May 11. Venus is back in a supportive position as she is parallel the north node today. She rules friendship, money and relationships. Especially important between the two contracting parties she seals the deal with a kiss.

    General Notes On Libra MoonsLibra
A Good Day for the Libra Moon. The Sun is square Neptune at 10:02 a.m. Mercury is sesqui-square (135°) Pluto at 10:48 p.m. This day has many hidden trouble spots. Find the details for today in the Dominant Activity section. Watch out for the adjustments that need to be made from the Moon quincunx (150°). I would choose another day if you need to approach licensing boards for permits and the like with Mercury sesqui-square (135°) Pluto at 10:48 p.m. the gate keeper is likely to be cranky. If traveling, beware of the power of authority figures. This day is packed with a few punches. Take care.

    eneral Notes On Scorpio MoonsScorpio

Black, the color of Saturday  Saturday, May 13, 2006
    General Notes On Scorpio MoonsScorpio
The supportive aspect is temporary and a flash in the pan that may act more like a lit match in a dry forest. It will be energetic so plan to work hard and get plenty accomplished. Mercury hooks up with Neptune at 12:35 a.m. in a contra parallel - good for sleep and dreaming if you're in the right time zone. Imaginative for others. Mercury is sextile Uranus at 8:02 a.m. allowing a spark of spontaneity to this day. Mercury joins efforts with Pluto at 8:52 p.m. with a contra-parallel adding long term support for your paper work and insurance issues. A good aspect for a therapeutic talk, deep body work.
