Don't miss out on the planetary aspects at the end of the Report to fill in the blanks on most days.
Many aspects, especially those involving slower-moving planets, can influence several days, especially when approaching their exact date. Many will last for days beyond if the planets are moving very slowly.
Also, be sure to check out the Lunar Gestation Cycle and Moon Charts!

  • 9° Scorpio is the degree where Mercury turned direct Friday, November 17, 2006 and it hovers long enough to create a stir. The station degree is interesting as it makes some interesting connections. First, the Uranus in Pisces direct station on Monday is trine (120°) to the stationary Mercury. But beneath the obvious is a thread to matters to transform personal and business relationships. 9° Scorpio is also the midpoint of the Sun and Moon when Mercury turned direct last night at 7:26 p.m. Messages are Mercury's job and this one rises through the need to make radical change within intimate contacts.
As with any Mercury station, there are decisions to be made. With this particular event, cooperation is needed to arrive at appropriate conclusions. Research is the key to a well-informed next step. With the Sun/Moon midpoint involved, the “we” principal is a dominating factor. Questions arise such as: “what can we do together to make a difference?”, or, “is this the right team?” For some this means “are we a couple or not”? Is this a productive partnership or are we squandering shared resources? Do we have a common passion or mission? Can we reinvent a common goal?
To ponder the origin of this current set of questions, look back to the New Moon that occurred at 9° Scorpio last year on November 1 that seeded the matters surrounding the current Mercury direct station. Further clues are found when a First Quarter Moon occurred at 9° Scorpio on August 2, 2006. If you became involved in a life-style change related within a few weeks of those dates you may be faced with important information for your decisions now. It gives us food for thought as we look to take our next step in this new direction when the evidence is rounded by a related Full Moon on May 2, 2007.
How curious it is that when Mercury turned retrograde on October 28 it was coupled with Neptune's direct station in Aquarius and now Mercury turns direct at the Uranus station in Pisces. Uranus and Neptune rule each other's signs.

More is likely to be revealed with the help of Uranus - the mythological father of Saturn and the great awakener. The erratic planet has been traveling retrograde since last June 19. Carrying the release of the rebel within and the realization of an individual truth, the stage is set for a series of reversals. Matters move in both directions turning to a radically new point or to an ancient repeat of history. Reversals are common with Mercury's change in direction but it is Uranus' innate nature. Surely chaos will arrive in some corners of the world.
Uranus is not committed to any one direction; it instead flips your awareness on a dime to a point not previously considered. Many times something becomes brilliantly apparent as if it jumped out of a box - the thoughts that accompany invention and discovery. This is when observation is so lightening fast it seems psychic, often bringing one to act on conclusions drawn from what one feels is right. You or those around you can reverse direction by backing out all together or moving forward in a dramatic twist of fate, like a couple on the brink of separation becomes engaged. Everything from the absurd to the ridiculous will have a commonality - all produces a new twist. What seems irrational may be the perfect ingredient to bring a stagnant factor into the present.
This is a period that reveals the unexpected. Some of what is unexpected is how you find yourself able to deal with something that once appeared impossible. Suddenly you get "it". You make it happen with what seemed to be a stroke of genius. Friendship may be the vehicle for bringing matters together. Groups of like-minded people and association attract new members. Uranus in Pisces may see an increase in spiritual groups.
However you experience this interesting set of cosmic events there is a caution for those waiting to make important decisions. This is the dark period that surrounds a New Moon. A period of inner beginnings where the enlightenment is seeded with Monday's New Moon conjunct the open mind of Jupiter who is about to make a long awaited homecoming to his own sign of Sagittarius on Thanksgiving Day. Freedom is a factor as well as grasping a broader understanding of what has happened over the past dozen years while Jupiter traveled the full route of the zodiac. While in Scorpio, Jupiter experienced a sort of self undoing where the traps of greed, power and control became its own prison. Scorpio is the twelfth sign after Sagittarius and the twelfth sign represents imprisonment. With all that behind him he returns to blue skies and open spaces… not that different from heaven for Jupiter.
This week you may ask yourself, how can I benefit from a radical life change?

    New Weekly Feature
For ease of reading the details of each day, when available or appropriate, follow the daily summary.

A Day Rating is not intended to describe the feeling of the day or how you will experience that day but offers clues about the end results to your activities if you chose to take a specific action during that Moon sign period.

A Moon sign period begins when the Moon enters a new sign and remains in effect until it leaves that sign. A Difficult Day can bring unwanted complications for the end result of your objectives. By choosing a Good Day and before the void of course Moon period, you increase you chances for a smoother and more favorable outcome. The day is rated by the last aspect from the Moon to a planet before it leaves the sign. That last aspect begins the void of course Moon period. Your activities are considered to be under the umbrella of the Moon sign that changes every couple of days. Days with the same Moon sign often carry the same day rating for the couple days the Moon occupies that sign.

    There some very important exceptions:
  • When a planet changes signs, the day rating can change.
  • When a planet changes direction, the day rating can change.

  •
These instances are referred to as a refranation, indicating that you are to expect someone to leave before you complete your objectives or the situation totally changes due to new and unseen developments or reversals.
