Don't miss out on the planetary aspects at the end of the Report to fill in the blanks on most days.
Many aspects, especially those involving slower-moving planets, can influence several days, especially when approaching their exact date. Many will last for days beyond if the planets are moving very slowly.

  • Sunday's partial solar eclipse is the headliner for this week and this spring season. The eclipse occurs at 10:43 p.m. on March 18, 2007, at 28°Pisces 7'. This is the last in a group of eclipses separated by a 19-year interval called the Metonic Cycle Look back for correlations in your life to the dates of this group that began on March 18, 1950, March 18, 1969, March 18, 1988 and finally the current eclipse. There was a lunar eclipse related to this family of eclipse that occurred September 16, 1997 of which you might also find relevance to now, especially to matters that involve your personal relationships. Another related lunar eclipse will appear at this degree on September 16, 2016. Astrology's game of numbers triggers old events and revives them at the next event at these degrees. The 9-month Lunar Gestation Cycle will also trigger the events set in place now. Watch related events to this eclipse develop to the First Quarter Moon stage on December 17, 2007.
This solar eclipse also belongs to a very long cycle called the Saros Series which has a range of nearly 1,300 years. The beginning of this Saros Series was on August 21, 1664 and it finishes on September 18, 2908. The eclipses in the Saros Series do not occur on the same date or same degree as we see in the neat pattern of the Metonic cycle. Bernadette Brady, an astrologer originally from Australia, delineated the meaning of each Saros Series. In this series No. 9 eclipses occurred in 1917, 1935, 1953, 1971, 2007, 2025, 2043 and so on through 2908. The Series No. 9 north is delineated in her book, The Eagle and the Lark, where she writes:
This is a very physically expressive Saros Series. Accidents, great physical effort, violence or any sudden physical events. These can be experienced positively as, for example, the first time snow skiing, or it can be felt negatively in terms of accidents and so on. The approach to take when this Series is affecting a chart is not to hide away but to undertake some physical activity, with an ever watchful eye to safety.
Bernadette was reading the actual chart from 1664. I find her method holds close to the interpretation of the eclipses of this eclipse.
By reading the chart of Sunday's eclipse, I find that there are sudden and abrupt characteristics with haphazard conditions that involve shifting land and rising water. Uranus is strongly activated so close to the north node of the Moon. The nodes act as a powerful polarizing grip that holds the Sun and Moon in alignment with the earth and block the light from the Sun. During this event the magnetic pull of the earth is off balance, causing some disruption. Mars and Neptune oppose Saturn and Jupiter broadens the scope of the event by it's tight trine (120°) to Saturn.
It is no wonder there is a snow storm this weekend and I expect the news reports will continue to report weather and geographical news over the next few days. The path of the eclipse sweeps from Africa, India up through China and Russia, crossing over Japan and ending in Alaska.
Besides the geological indicators there are effects on the human plane. The sign of Pisces opens a channel for support from the universe. Meditation will be highly successful for sorting through issues and creating peace. Pluto's square (90°) to the eclipse point indicates the changes taking place deep under the surface that are pushing the earth to her limit. I understand her name is Terra. Please send her your love, prayers and a healing violet light and together we can be part of the solution.
The red planet Mars has an aggressive masculine nature which has teamed up with illusive Neptune for the eclipse. This pair is often found on a misguided mission as Neptune cloaks his true self and they both oppose Saturn. This creates a series of clouded actions that attracts authority figures. Saturn turns direct April 19th which places him in a slightly stronger position. Saturn is weakened by it's location in Leo. Certainly his hands are tied behind his back when retrograde. The heaviness of this period now is partially due to Saturn moving so slowly, but a greater stillness comes from Pluto at the point where he turns retrograde on March 31st. All of these factors contribute to the seriousness during this time. Venus plays a strong role of support for money, love and understanding when I convert the eclipse chart to its ninth harmonic. This technique shows the greatest expression to the highest good or joy of the eclipse (and is used on natal charts as well), that emphasizes an opening for peaceful resolve through camaraderie, friendship and financial support.
General note about 2007 Moon Signs.
TRANSITS: 2007 Good Days. As a matter of fact the good days are all hinged upon a decent aspect to Pluto in Sagittarius who acts as a hungry hound at the end of that sign, requiring you feed him and his litany of demands before tending to your own needs. Pluto's appetite for control and attention is like a bottomless pit. When other planets are very late in a sign then their symbolism has the last word as the Moon forms its last aspect before leaving a sign. This summer Saturn becomes the latest planet for about two months from August 6- September 2nd. For the most part, until Pluto leaves Sagittarius next year, I do like a few Moon signs, Aries, Libra and Aquarius when the final aspects are positive being a trine (120°) or sextile (60°) to Pluto or a parallel or contra parallel to another planet.

    New Weekly Feature
For ease of reading the details of each day, when available or appropriate, follow the daily summary.

A Day Rating is not intended to describe the feeling of the day or how you will experience that day but offers clues about the end results to your activities if you chose to take a specific action during that Moon sign period.

A Moon sign period begins when the Moon enters a new sign and remains in effect until it leaves that sign. A Difficult Day can bring unwanted complications for the end result of your objectives. By choosing a Good Day and before the void of course Moon period, you increase you chances for a smoother and more favorable outcome. The day is rated by the last aspect from the Moon to a planet before it leaves the sign. That last aspect begins the void of course Moon period. Your activities are considered to be under the umbrella of the Moon sign that changes every couple of days. Days with the same Moon sign often carry the same day rating for the couple days the Moon occupies that sign.

    There some very important exceptions:
  • When a planet changes signs, the day rating can change.
  • When a planet changes direction, the day rating can change.

  •
These instances are referred to as a refranation, indicating that you are to expect someone to leave before you complete your objectives or the situation totally changes due to new and unseen developments or reversals.

    General Notes On Pisces MoonsPisces
    - Difficulties with hidden struggles and unseen problems.. Moon in Aquarius until 1:29 a.m. Take it slow.
We are in the dark of the Moon period and the pending eclipse brings a litany of serious life and death issues. Many of us will be called into service for one thing or another. Wait until Wednesday to allow some light to develop before taking any action. This could be an expensive day by need or choice. Venus entering its own sign of Taurus at 6:00 p.m. increases a need to keep family and friends close by and to enjoy good food.
At 1:29 a.m. the Moon enters Pisces. Note that Venus (today) and Mercury (Sunday) change signs during this Moon period, creating a turn of events just after they move into their signs.
6:00 PM Venus enters Taurus until 4/11/2007

    - Difficulties with hidden struggles and unseen problems.. Pisces Moon becomes void of course at 11:58 p.m. Pisces Solar Eclipse is at 10:43 p.m. Take it slow.
Venus and Uranus, in close aspect in the chart of this eclipse, are causing the fluctuations in the economy, causing further expense and sudden twists in personal relationships. Avoid reacting to any slights. A small thing could escalate unnecessarily. Not until Mercury enters Pisces at 5:34 a.m. do you begin to understand some things. You could change your mind or become aware of new information after Mercury's sign change that brings you new leads. There is a pressing need to expose the truth and force those to justice that are attempting to skate away from responsibility. Modern technology speeds poor conditions. Take hold of those dear to you and look after one another. Value friendship and use compassion and understanding.

    General Notes On Aries MoonsAries
    - Rough day with power struggles; improves after 6:13 pm. Pisces Moon is void of course until it enters Aries at 1:41 a.m.
Note the Sun changes signs Tuesday during this Moon period indicating something or someone important leaves before you get the chance to meet your goals. The power struggles continue and press matters to a crisis level for those that wish to remain anonymous and unaccountable. Those currently or previously in a position of power are subject to be exposed and sought after. The temptation to test the wills of justice can lead to sorry consequences. For the rest of us who are simply plugging along as best we can you are able to find obstacles that involve insurance companies, mortgage brokers, caregivers for hospice and other heavy subjects. Take action on one-time projects after 6:13 p.m.
    1:41 AM Moon enters Aries.

    General Notes On Aries MoonsAries
    - Good for one-time events; Good after 8:08 pm.
The first day of the boreal Spring chart shows great change ahead for the next three months. It's a very active period bringing in both positive and heavy energy. Some may feel pressured to take strong action. One time events run well today especially if you can imagine the star was just passing through and you caught a special unscheduled performance.
8:07 PM Sun enters Aries until 4/20/2007.

    - Good until 12:45 pm; thenBlind spots and power struggles. Moon in Aries is void of course from 12:45 a.m. until it enters Taurus at 1:15 a.m. There are blind splots and power struggles while the Moon is in Taurus.
The day begins with a generous and indulgent aspect. You may want to have a party instead of going to work. There is a plan in the works to mow down the opposition and join hands with someone in charge but it doesn't work. Strikes are likely and discord is building. Use the morning to schmooze without a goal in mind. The greedy side of someone is not pretty.

    General Notes On Taurus MoonsTaurus
    - Blind spots and power struggles.
This is a tough day for anyone. Teeth, bones and skin are a concern. If you are heavily physical today take care as bones and muscles are vulnerable. News suggest to first prepare for something in its last stages before considering a new run. Someone in trouble seeks backup but finds it hard to gain support.

     Aspects for the Week

    Saturday
    VENUS ENTERS TAURUS (2nd Sign) - Mar 17 2007
Brief description: Venus loves being in the sign of Taurus. She rules this sign. She gets what she wants and lots of it. For the rest of us it gives us a time when romance is more likely to feel satisfying. The love road is not as rocky as a slower more deliberate pace is set with love and a need for good matches that are make one feel secure. Money may be easier to find and there is room for indulgence and purchases. Taurus has the reputation for being loyal and wise with money matters. Issues with loyalty and over spending are more the case than not.

    Sunday
VENUS SEMISQUARE URANUS (2nd Sign to 12th Sign) - Exact Mar 18 2007
Brief description: Minor irritations regarding sudden abrupt change with relationships and money. Overdrawn bank accounts. There is need for a temporary change in the status of relationships. A need to temporarily distance oneself from the confines of commitment. Sudden urge to spend money. Lost purse or luggage. Making fast friends that may not last. Finding small treasures. Sweet treats. Sexy intrigue.
For personal use: Try something totally new. Meeting new people under this aspect is spontaneous and often temporary.
For business use: Transactions favor sales over purchases.

MARS SEMISEXTILE URANUS (11th Sign to 12th Sign) - Exact Mar 18 2007
Brief description: Technology breaks or breakthrough. A minor opportunity to use sudden erratic actions to break out of a tight spot. Uranus in Pisces could bring attention to a musician involved in acts of escapism, violence or self undoing. There may be religious extremism. Exposure of illegal behaviors with acts of aggression. Sudden actions to bring about extreme circumstances that may have an affect on finances. Aggressive men on a mission make a statement or expose a truth, as they see it. May increase blood pressure.
For personal use: Stay out of the way. Remain objective. Just watch this day unfold. You may have to look behind closed doors. Take good care of your heart. Stress reduction exercises would be helpful.
For business use: Allow a genius to work.

    MERCURY ENTERS PISCES - (12th Sign) Mar 18 2007
Brief description: Mercury's mental function is visionary, imaginative and intuitive. There is a tendency to use creative license with the facts. Our thinking process becomes less direct and lends weight to symbolic impressions and imagination. The facts could be distorted or open to interpretation. Gossip runs high with Mercury in Pisces. Many errands are run in private as talks behind closed doors involve scheming. This is a good time for writing in quiet spaces and finding your inner voice. Trips over water, even the local bridge may become a topic. Quotes from clergy or private counsel are used to make an attempt to answer questions. Activities involving machines, equipment and counting devices, such as voting machines can be topics. Announcements to be made clarifying private actions that may come out into the open. Trips to the hospital or medical treatments or tests. Medical problems such as poor vision, pulmonary disorders and loss of mental function maybe in the news.
For personal use: Your imagination can help solve problems.
For business use: Trust your gut responses and rely on intuition for good leads.

MERCURY CONTRAPARALLEL VENUS (12th Sign to 2nd Sign) - Exact Mar 18 2007
Brief description: A brief potential for sweet combinations. People meet for nice talks and pleasant short visits. Sharing food and good conversation. Introductions for a specific occasion or setting. Temporary contracts or agreements. Much appreciated compliments and kind words or support. Small favors. Flattery.
For personal use: Compose an important letter to present your point in the best possible light.
For business use: You may not get a lot of work done but you could get your foot in the door.

    ECLIPSE OF SUN (12th Sign) - Mar 18 2007

    Monday
SUN SQUARE PLUTO (12th Sign to 9th Sign) - Exact Mar 19 2007
Brief description: Power struggles deep within company structures. Adjustments that need to be made as a result of events involving insurance companies. Disputes over estates, money and the value of property. Ancient land rights. There can be a presence of mind whirling issues with a catch-22 scenario. Those in a position of power are not accessible or accountable to anyone but their authorities which may be government agencies. Dealing with agencies and their bureaucracy. You may only gain minimal support by advancing forward, totally prepared, appearing in total control. Have a solid game plan. Stick to your original point and allow only a positive response to allow you to move onto your next point. If you are engaged in a dispute create a priority page with only one topic on the top of your page. Continually come back to the same one line as the other individual processes through intimidation and steep investigation. Present yourself as competent and independent even though you may have a mentor waiting in the wings. At all costs avoid any boasting or unnecessary displays of ego; just know your stuff securely even if it is all an act. There are strong biological needs that must be attended. Sexual intrigue could add to an already complicated drama. Carefully seek out someone you can trust. You may be driven to seek a pot of gold. Psychosis and deviant behaviors may be evident.
For personal use: Plan on various physical, psychological or psycho-spiritual therapies. Practice stress reduction. Sometimes only hard physical work can ease the mind.
For business use: Don't go it alone; ask for assistance. Find the optimistic link.

    Tuesday
    SUN ENTERS ARIES (1st Sign) - Mar 20 2007
You are an assertive and freedom-loving individual. You have a strong need for independence, and may tend to display self-concern assertively.

    Wednesday
VENUS SESQUISQUARE JUPITER (2nd Sign to 9th Sign) Exact Mar 21 2007
Brief description: Oh no!! You are likely to suffer from an excessive desire to play and "party." For some it will be a welcomed reaction to psychological angst. Grand and extravagant surroundings that may lack good taste. Overindulgence at social events. Partners are overvaluing something but enthusiastic about coupling. The food may not be great but the company is.
For personal use: Allow your enthusiasm to level out a bit before overextending yourself.
For business use: Social settings and networking. Parties for those on their way out of town.

MARS PARALLEL PLUTO (11th Sign to 9th Sign) - Exact Mar 21 2007
Brief description: Intense need to engage on treacherous ground. Biological drive. A need for physical and sexual release. Cutting into a new fabric or creating a new design to move into a new territory. Overpowering response. Steamrollers. This is a big money day for the big players. Not a day for lightweights.
For personal use: Get out of the way if you are not part of the plan. Exercise. Make love not war.
For business use: Approach those in power with a brief but detailed financial and reveal only your strongest side.

MARS CONTRAPARALLEL SATURN (11th Sign to 5th Sign) - Exact Mar 21 2007
Brief description: Parallels and contra parallel aspects of declination remain in effect for a longer time period than the more familiar aspects conjunctions, oppositions, squares and trines, etc. The interpretation of this aspect can be that of a cool off period around a hot zone. It can also be understood as force meets a brick wall. The rebels in the area have to agree to allow emergency operations to take place before they resume their battle. Of course they are also compromised as if the universe has given them time to cool off. With a contra parallel there is a level of cooperation involving the principals of the two planets involved. As if they temporarily put aside their differences for a common goal. A successful one time event between two opposing sides as with the bipartisan efforts of the governors to keep the federal government money for Medicaid would fall under the roof of this aspect.
For personal use: This aspect can be supportive when involving very close relationships as you may agree for a time to let bygones be bygones around a difficult subject. It can be a time for cooperation during a period when a difficult task is ahead of you both. It indicates slow steady progress.
For business use: You may join forces or combine your efforts with people or businesses that you do not intend to remain connected with or those who you may never have considered as business partners or associates but are appropriate now for a specific goal.

    Thursday
MARS OPPOSITE SATURN (11th Sign to 5th Sign) - Exact Mar 22 2007
Brief description: Sheer frustration. Progress that is cut off or blocked. A loss of jobs. An athletic challenge. Hot and cold reactions. The inability to act on a subject that has orchestrated a well prepared foundation. The end of a major battle. Objections to judicial rulings. Exhausting all efforts to avoid being shut down. To surrender or give up after a grueling battle. The topic of skeletal bone support. Broken bones. Persistent problems. Halts aggression. To comply to the rules with resentment. Meeting with a brick wall. A very hard task that feels like an uphill battle. Going on alone without support.
For personal use: Take stock, and then take charge of your most fundamental concerns. Reinforce your supplies and foundations. Work on teeth and bones.
For business use: Utilize your best problem solvers. Look again in areas where you have failed in the past.

    Friday
MARS SEXTILE JUPITER (11th Sign to 9th Sign) - Exact Mar 23 2007
Brief description: Confidence, motivation and energy accompany an entrepreneurial spirit. A winning combination. Supportive competitive environment. Athletic and physical activity. Focus on what is ethical and "right". At times the attitude of "might makes right". What is morally correct can inspire a crusade.
For personal use: Expand your horizons.
For business use: Education and marketing are favorable.
