Don't miss out on the planetary aspects at the end of the Report to fill in the blanks on most days.
Many aspects, especially those involving slower-moving planets, can influence several days, especially when approaching their exact date. Many will last for days beyond if the planets are moving very slowly.

  • The New Moon in Cancer gets the headline. Its near exact quincunx (150°) aspect to Neptune has a perplexing quality beyond the usual vague nature of a New Moon that is present, simply by the absence of the Moon during that time. This aspect alone has unnerved this astrologer. Getting this report together was a grueling project as working with stubborn problems and interruptions beyond my expectation. This is an example of how the Sun-Neptune quincunx can impose its influence. The computer has had a mind of its own. All of the sixth sign symbolism was completely apparent, which is the "life's messy clean it up" aspect and I find it is still the theme on Sunday. At risk of no report I send this on "as is" and with my apologies. I wish you all well for the week and I hope next week's report goes without a hitch. By reading the days you will gain a feel for the overall energies.
    Moon "Out of Bounds
Since the summer of 2001 the Moon has been traveling very high in the sky because its range in declination shots beyond the 23°27' line at the Tropic of Cancer in the northern sky and beyond the 23°27' Tropic of Capricorn in the southern sky. The Sun reaches its maximum north or south declination at these two boundaries at the summer solstice and winter solstice. When the Moon travels very high into these out of bounds zones it is not only higher in the sky but we seem to have stronger emotional reactions to events during these times. Here I will include the days of the month when the Moon travels out-of-bounds in declination. Times are rounded off to the nearest half hour.
For the Month of July 2007 the Moon travels out-of bounds:
  • June 26 - 8:30 p.m., through July 1st at 10:00 p.m.
  • July 10 - 7:00 a.m. through July 14 - 8:30 p.m.
  • July 24 - 3:30 a.m. through July 29 -8:00 a.m.
  • Not again until August 6 - 11:00 a.m. until
        August 11th, 6:00 a.m.

  • 2007 Good Days: As a matter of fact the good days are all hinged upon a decent aspect to Pluto in Sagittarius who acts as a hungry hound at the end of that sign, requiring you feed him and his litany of demands before tending to your own needs. Pluto's appetite for control and attention is like a bottomless pit. When other planets are very late in a sign then their symbolism has the last word as the Moon forms its last aspect before leaving a sign. This boreal summer Saturn becomes the latest planet for about two months from August 6-September 2. For the most part, until Pluto leaves Sagittarius next year, I do like a few Moon signs.

    Please read my
article on Refranations as they are an important astrological event marker.

    New Weekly Feature
For ease of reading the details of each day, when available or appropriate, follow the daily summary.

A Day Rating is not intended to describe the feeling of the day or how you will experience that day but offers clues about the end results to your activities if you chose to take a specific action during that Moon sign period.

A Moon sign period begins when the Moon enters a new sign and remains in effect until it leaves that sign. A Difficult Day can bring unwanted complications for the end result of your objectives. By choosing a Good Day and before the void of course Moon period, you increase you chances for a smoother and more favorable outcome. The day is rated by the last aspect from the Moon to a planet before it leaves the sign. That last aspect begins the void of course Moon period. Your activities are considered to be under the umbrella of the Moon sign that changes every couple of days. Days with the same Moon sign often carry the same day rating for the couple days the Moon occupies that sign.

    There some very important exceptions:
  • When a planet changes signs, the day rating can change.
  • When a planet changes direction, the day rating can change.

  •
These instances are referred to as a refranation, indicating that you are to expect someone to leave before you complete your objectives or the situation totally changes due to new and unseen developments or reversals.

       Aspects for the Week

SUN QUINCUNX NEPTUNE (4th Sign to 11th Sign) - Exact Jul 14 2007
Brief description: Illusions are used as a smoke screen. Repeated patterns could create a blind spot. Dropping your routine to manage a chronic problem such as substance abuse or other evasive behavior. Daily routine slacks. Becoming distracted and disenchanted with your job and co-workers. Someone is out of line and not dependable. Healthy escapes with music, meditation and yoga.
For personal use: Patience, compassion and support are the best use of this aspect. Join a yoga class.
For business use: Intuition runs high with an inspiring unexpected event.

MARS PARALLEL SATURN (2nd Sign to 5th Sign) - Exact Jul 14 2007
Brief description: Commitment. A time to join forces with seasoned business associates. Positive structural plans and progress with business as well as personal relationships planning a future together.
For personal use: Use this time to address your commitment in your personal relationships.

Extra note: This aspect's range of effect began June 9 through June 19, 2004.

    VENUS ENTERS VIRGO (6th Sign) - Jul 14 2007
Brief description: Venus in Virgo loves her work. Her pride is demonstrated with meticulous detail. Marcia Cross' plays the perfect Venus in Virgo character on the popular TV show "Desperate Housewives". She portrays the perfect hostess with a fastidious hand. While not all those born with Venus in Virgo have a pristine household there is likely to be something they do that can be described to perfection as a labor of love. This is the sign of Venus' fall where she earned a reputation for being critical and picky and some believe she can not be satisfied while in Virgo.
Appreciation is not the commodity here that it is when Venus travels through Leo instead there is the issue of expectations. Appreciated must truly be earned in the Virgo placement and it is here where actions speak louder than words. Someone with this Venus is more likely to show you how they love you by cooking, cleaning and making your daily routines easier and want your recognition for their efforts. It’s the expectations that are the true downfall when Venus is in Virgo. Venus in Virgo keeps those closest to her on a short leash when there is work to be done, but works hard for you when you’re away. This Venus loves you most when you are helpful and then you’ll see someone who is extremely grateful. The squabbles arise when you are clueless of what it expected. This Venus is best when surrounded by those who can read minds. She will do anything asked of her and can not imagine anyone saying no when she needs help. It’s all about the work. Happiness is getting the work done. Keeping the peace at work. Finding a peaceful spot to work. Working things out. Venus doesn’t argue for the sake of arguing but wants to process the problems and truly wants to hear how you are willing to work with her.
Venus is not frivolous in Virgo and needs a good reason to spend. Usually Venus is comfortable buying clothes and accessories for work. Venus will shell out the big bucks for computer equipment or specialty tools. Socializing at work makes sense as long as there is good food for everyone.
On July 27, 2007 Venus will turn retrograde in Virgo remaining there briefly before returning to the sign of Leo on August 8, 2007. The last time Venus turned retrograde in Virgo was in 1999. But more interesting is the last time Venus turned retrograde at 2°Virgo 57’ (2°50’) which was on July 26, 1756.

SUN CONTRAPARALLEL JUPITER (4th Sign to 9th Sign) - Exact Jul 15 2007
Brief description: Enthusiastic and optimistic responses. Upbeat. Success with short term endeavors. But high expectations fall short. Keep your expectations down to a minimum and enjoy this one time event. New social situations. Celebrations for a significant other. Adventures are short term. Outside inquiries regarding publications. A great opportunity to expand your knowledge. Benefit from spiritual connections. Strong burst to self-esteem. Moderate your decisions while in an over confident state of mind. Something falls flat or short of your hopes. A major effort for too little reward. The promise was greater than the prize. Over-inflated impressions. The event that is over priced and over rated. Too little, too late. A one-time opportunity. A disappointment in regard to a trip. Taking on more than you can handle. Someone reneges on their end of the bargain when they move onto greener pastures. You may not have a legal leg to stand on.
For personal use: This aspect works very well for short term endeavors as long as you do not have an expectation that are beginning something that will carry you into the future. Get a completely new perspective.
For business use: Beware of entering into agreements with others of short association. Plans work well for the short run. Pies in the sky ideas come down to earth. Expand your knowledge.

Now the Sun and Pluto connect at this angle to expose subjects that have been missing, closed or buried. Matters involving healthcare workers, police, mortgages, taxes, money-lenders and major leaders could come into the light in an uncomfortable setting. This particular aspect may lead to connections in high places.
For personal use: A disruptive event involving family, close friends and outsiders could be the source of problems. Lay low, operate with integrity and compassion when dealing with intense drama.
