  • On August 28, 2007 a total Eclipse of the Moon at 4°Pisces 46’, will be a spectacular sight in North and South America, eastern Australia, New Zealand and most of Antarctica. The Moon will be totally shadowed by the Earth from 5:52am until 7:22am EDT. Weather permitting; the beginning of the Eclipse will be visible to the entire North and South America’s east coast around 4am on Tuesday until the 6:10am EDT Sunrise. The deeply colored Moon will be large and low on the western horizon as the Sun rises and bleaches the Moon from our site. The Eclipse will continue even after it sinks below the eastern horizon until 9:22am EDT. If you live on the US West Coast the Eclipse will be visible in its entirety.
This Lunar Eclipse has roots to a Solar Eclipse that occurred on February 26, 1998 as now the Moon’s Nodes have flipped at the halfway mark through the 19year Metonic Cycle. This Lunar Eclipse is more recently related to a Moon Family that began with a New Moon on February 27, 2006 that continued to develop at the First Quarter Moon on November 28, 2006 to the spectacular event of this week’s Lunar Eclipse. You can gather the message from your life’s event that reveal a pattern that has emerge around these dates that are compared to now. Currently the range of influence of Tuesday’s Lunar Eclipse began to bloom about six weeks ago. Tuesday is the grand event that will reveal the matters at hand that in some way began brewing in 1998.
There are deadlines now and secrets that will be revealed as the Earth symbolically steps in to stop something before it escalates any further. Certainly it is a time to slow down where you may have traveled to fast in the past. There is a grandstanding quality to a Lunar Eclipse that forces the surrounding issues to be qualified before moving forward as if coming before a serious board on questioners. The Pisces symbolism refers to a subconscious to consciousness shift that injects a dose of realism into our sleeping collective consciousness. The wise, loving and compassionate qualities of Pisces will be visible in tandem with an overly sensitive and highly emotional period. The Sun in Virgo draws the attention from perspective of “the other” or significant other. The spiritual resources will be strongly available during this time to assist in the approaching energetic shift. There may be a strong focus on very powerful secrets revealed. Prisoners will be incarcerated and released. Workers may demand fairness and healthcare and health issues present as a high priority for many. Large roaming animals as well as our dear pets attract our attention now. Also questions like, how to be become more efficient, hold a pressing urgency during this time.
This Eclipse chart has Saturn at the 29th degree of Leo which places the focus on a huge debt of the heart and the royal throne (so to speak). Regulus, the Royal Star of Persia draws our attention once again to the Middle East and the consequences of our actions there. A significant shift is likely to occur in that part of the world. This eclipse may be just the beginning of a continuing drama that is played out with a Lunar Eclipse in six months on February 21, 2008.
The Pisces Eclipse is ruled by the planet Neptune which has just arrived in the sign of Aquarius at the time of the parent Solar Eclipse back in February 1998. Now Neptune is two thirds through the sign and now at the last ten degrees of Aquarius which correlates to the Libra co-rulership. Venus and what she represents is important in that regard to Libra as well as her exalted standing in Pisces. But, Venus is now retrograde in Leo until September 8th, meaning she is not operating at full function and her worst side is showing, furthermore she is not delivering the goods. Tie that in with Venus’ opposition to Neptune in the chart of the Lunar Eclipse and this can create confusion and disillusion in areas of money, love and friendship. Costumes, jewelry and any type of personal or house accessories are also pulled into the drama. It might seem it is a good time to redecorate but you can’t get your order filled or anything you purchase comes with a hitch. Maybe the hitch is there is no money until she turns direct on 9/8.
The Lunar Eclipse does make this a great time for music and showing your artistic goods. You might be discovered. Perhaps this energy is best for composition and new designs.
It is an accident-prone period with so many blind spots so take it slow and be deliberate in your daily routine but do allow for the magic to arrive through the spiritual realms.
An Extra Note About the Void of Course Moon Currently Related to both "Good Days" and "Tough Days":
The Good Days are a green light for taking action to support positive results for your elected activities. A good day or otherwise difficult day is determined by the last aspect that the Moon makes to the planet at the latest degree of any sign. Another consideration is the Moon's alignment in declination of either parallel or contra parallel. When the Moon forms its final aspect the void of course (v/c) Moon period begins until the Moon enters the next sign. The aspects that bring Good Results are sextile (60°), trine (120°), the parallel and contra-parallel and most conjunctions (0°), if the planet is a friendly and in a sign compatible to the planet. My research of the onset of a v/c Moon period proves to include the difficult 150° quincunx (qnx) aspect and 30° semi-sextile (ssx) which I find to be sometimes favorable. The semi-sextile is somewhat favorable as its increases the value of matters when the Moon is 30° ahead of the planet latest in the sign. When the Moon planet is 30° behind the planet as a last aspect it diminishes into hidden problems and I would rate it as problematic. A 90° square or 180° opposition would negatively impact the Moon sign period and prove to show problems. Even though I would not elect days that contain negatives for anything that requires more attention in the future, I might chose these so called negative aspect days for closing out or wrapping up things that have been difficult to deal with. I have noticed that many medical procedures occur when the Moon is in Pisces and when the Moon's final aspect is square Pluto. This is an example of dealing with a very difficult problem.
From August 18-September 2, 2007 Saturn receives the Moon's final aspect.
Aug 18 is Good Day until 9:52 a.m.
    Aug 23 is Good Day from 8:08 am-8:53 a.m.
Aug 30 is Good period from 12:24 am until Sep 1 at 11:18 a.m.
The remaining days have difficult and problematic issues that emerge. However, by tackling these issues you then become more secure. Saturn is about security. Results can be costly and reports are tough to swallow, as Saturn is demanding his due. After Saturn enters Virgo on September 2nd Pluto resumes his status as the hungry hound at the end of Sagittarius with a litany of demands before tending to your needs. Pluto's appetite for control and attention is like a bottomless pit.

    Moon "Out of Bounds
Since the summer of 2001 the Moon has been traveling very high in the sky because its range in declination shots beyond the 23°27' line at the Tropic of Cancer in the northern sky and beyond the 23°27' Tropic of Capricorn in the southern sky. The Sun reaches its maximum north or south declination at these two boundaries at the summer solstice and winter solstice. When the Moon travels very high into these out of bounds zones it is not only higher in the sky but we seem to have stronger emotional reactions to events during these times. Here I will include the days of the month when the Moon travels out-of-bounds in declination. Times are rounded off to the nearest half hour.
For the Month of July 2007 the Moon travels out-of bounds:
  • June 26 - 8:30 p.m., through July 1st at 10:00 p.m.
  • July 10 - 7:00 a.m. through July 14 - 8:30 p.m.
  • July 24 - 3:30 a.m. through July 29 -8:00 a.m.
  • Not again until August 6 - 11:00 a.m. until
        August 11th, 6:00 a.m.
  • August 20 - 25th
  • September 2 - 7th

    MOON/SUN MIDPOINT CHANGES INFO

Try looking at your surrounding circumstances through the view of the Moon and Sun midpoint.  This is the point where you meet others halfway or the point of collaboration. It is a marriage point of sorts – or a merging or compromising point.  It may help to learn what energy promotes this agreement point between family members, other people or companies.  If a planet is adversely situated by square or opposition to the midpoint then this indicates difficulty situated by a square or an opposition to the midpoint then this indicates difficulty coming to agreements or obstacles in the path.

These midpoints do not follow an obvious pattern and will fall out of zodiacal order when the Moon crosses over the opposition point at a Full Moon.

People are more open and direct with one another with creative ideas when the midpoint travels through fire signs (Fire Signs - Aries, Leo and Sagittarius).

People are secretive with one another operating with hidden agendas when the midpoint travels through water signs (Water Signs- Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces).

People tend to be more social and intellectual when this point travels through air signs (Air Signs - Gemini, Libra and Aquarius).

People are more practical and methodical, and are able to function in a traditional, cooperative and goal oriented manner. Money and business is important especially with Taurus and Capricorn. Service and the task is the goal with Virgo midpoints. (Earth Signs -Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn).

    New Weekly Feature
For ease of reading the details of each day, when available or appropriate, follow the daily summary.

A Day Rating is not intended to describe the feeling of the day or how you will experience that day but offers clues about the end results to your activities if you chose to take a specific action during that Moon sign period.

A Moon sign period begins when the Moon enters a new sign and remains in effect until it leaves that sign. A Difficult Day can bring unwanted complications for the end result of your objectives. By choosing a Good Day and before the void of course Moon period, you increase you chances for a smoother and more favorable outcome. The day is rated by the last aspect from the Moon to a planet before it leaves the sign. That last aspect begins the void of course Moon period. Your activities are considered to be under the umbrella of the Moon sign that changes every couple of days. Days with the same Moon sign often carry the same day rating for the couple days the Moon occupies that sign.

    There some very important exceptions:
  • When a planet changes signs, the day rating can change.
  • When a planet changes direction, the day rating can change.

  •
These instances are referred to as a refranation, indicating that you are to expect someone to leave before you complete your objectives or the situation totally changes due to new and unseen developments or reversals.

Dear Weekly Report Readers: While some of you seemed to really enjoy the new color-coded table format for the Report, others did not. However, when we dropped the table format, alas, others protested! So we are still experimenting and for this week have decided to combine the two flavors, in both a simplified, narrative form, as well as the spreadsheet form. Please let us know what you think.

    MOON ENTERING AQUARIUS (11th Sign) - Aug 25 2007
Aquarius is an outgoing air sign ruling friendship and groups that join to exchange ideas and share like-minded ideas. With an Aquarius Moon the unusual, brand-new, and bizarre are the order of the day. This is usually a more social time with the unexpected as the norm. Aquarius rules anything very strange or alien in nature. Emotions are more erratic with unpredictable expressions. When independence streak is triggered some people express themselves with alienating behaviors becomes obvious. This is also true with nations, and companies, etc. There is a sense or expectation of change, and for some it may feel like impending doom. For others a strong surge of hope is evident. Aquarius is a fixed sign, indicating that things may not really change but evolve to the level of social consciousness. This may be a good time for revelations and awakenings. Aquarius rules mirrors or tape recorders, where reflection and repetitiveness are modes of behavior. Incessant talkers are reported, debating any passing point. This is the sign of invention and modernization. If you are an Aquarius, matters tend to go your way. Doctor appointments on days with Aquarius Moons can lead to treatments with the most modern techniques and equipment. In the garden it's a good time to eliminate bugs and weeds.

MOON GOES VOID OF COURSE AFTER OPPOSITE SATURN (11th Sign to 5th Sign) - Aug 27 2007

    MOON ENTERS PISCES (12th Sign) - Aug 27 2007
The Pisces Moon can be a time of divine inspiration and composition. It is normally a sympathetic and empathetic time. This is a great time to recharge your batteries with some well needed down time. For some they may seek an escape with alcohol or mind-altering substances. You may feel compelled toward activities that support what feels like a mission or become a vehicle for divine intervention. This moon period can hold both gentle and forceful energy. Neptune the god of the sea, rules Pisces can be divinely spiritual or filled with upheaval when enraged. Hurricanes after all are born at sea. Tidal waves, tsunami and monsoons are all ruled by Neptune as are any major rain or snow storm. This can be a sensitive and romantic couple of days. There may be a presence of strong feelings of faith combined with a need to make a spiritual connection. It is normally a sympathetic and empathetic period; people can be overly sensitive and feel victimized. At times when feeling overly frustrated and misunderstood, striking out at others turns the victim into the victimizer as with the wounded puppy syndrome. There may be a strong focus on cosmetic and superficial appearances. Some may experience a Pisces Moon as a "black cloud" or fear that something unfortunate will occur as with 'Murphy's Law". There is a strong spiritual hunger during this time. Emotions range from melancholy to sentimental. This is a very good time for meditation, yoga and prayer and connecting to the universal divine protector. On a mundane level, there may be all sorts of sneaky behavior behind the scenes and misrepresentations. You may become aware of secrets. Clandestine affairs love a Pisces Moon. Elect to work behind the scenes for tasks requiring solitude. Intuition runs high; so trust your gut feelings. Music can be used as a tool to alter moods. Practice meditation, yoga and prayer. Create something poetic and be open to receive inspiration. Help someone -- service and sacrifice is Pisces' middle name and it helps with any tendency toward self pity. Be aware of the lack of boundaries. The weather may be wet or misty. This is a fertile time and productive time in the garden. Planting and cultivating. If a Moon phases occurs while the Moon is in Pisces, people take action on the secrets revealed. The rule of thumb with a Pisces Moon is that you will land in a different place than you expected if you choose this time to initiate your objectives. If you are a Pisces, matters generally tend to go your way.

During this time you may seek independence and be short tempered, confrontational and challenging. Here can be a single-minded mission or the potential to start something from scratch. The daily tones are noisier and less tolerant then other Moon signs. There might be an absence of social grace or pleasantries but not lacking in charm. This is an emotionally demanding period and can be filled with a need for sexual release. Assertiveness is seen everywhere and some people or other critters just will not take no for an answer. On the positive note you may begin projects you have held off. On the other side of that you may not finish them either. Plant onions. Good time to weed the garden and kill insects. If you are an Aries, matters tend to go your way.

MERCURY QUINCUNX NEPTUNE (6th Sign to 11th Sign) - Exact Aug 30 2007

Distractions and lack of focus. Longing for gentle compassionate assistance. Family members need an ear. Listless. Travel is filled with blind spots. A temporary loss of sensation with or without the loss of consciousness.
For personal use: A day when you thinking is off. Best when used for relaxing and easy tasks. No heavy personal decisions. Pick up the pieces from a mess left behind. Use your creativity.
For business use: Try to keep an open mind. Computer viruses are likely. Contracts are slippery. Verbal agreements fall apart or are filled with complications.

MOON GOES VOID OF COURSE AFTER TRINE SATURN (1st Sign to 5th Sign) - Sep 1 2007

    MOON ENTERING TAURUS (2nd Sign) - Sep 1 2007
The Moon in Taurus is in its exaltation which normally indicates that there is a graciousness and honor of some sort. When the Moon is in Taurus, there tends to be a focus on finances, and often money comes through on these days. This is the Moon of tradition, concerned with matters of the family and gatherings. It is usually “food first” for Taurus Moons. Bonding is more apparent with loved ones. There is a need to get more grounded and find some peace and quiet. You may be carting about people or supplies. (Before automated vehicles, the bull pulled carts of supplies and people.) Taurus Moons can be lazier and more indulgent than usual. This can be a slow-moving couple of days with no rushing and lower blood pressure. The bull is more sensitive than they appear being also stubborn and not easily pulled off track. If there is a sense of being pressured this could incite rage especially if plans change without consulting the bull and then securing his/her approval. Don’t push, suggest. Find a way to make your pitch, sale or emotional plea politically palatable, practical and profitable to please and capture your benefactors’ attention. Remain sensitive and patient while watching the object of your attention become interested in your product. Making a pitch or sale with the Moon in Taurus can be tedious but you are often speaking to someone who has the means to fund your project or buy your products. If your can remember they don’t want to be pushed, they want to be seduced you will have much better luck. If you seem to be interested only in money you will loose their respect. When the Moon is in Taurus people like to buy things that are sensual to the touch. Fabrics need to be comfortable and relaxed but of high quality. Flannels, cottons and very soft wools are sought. Lots of food items, cooking and indoor/outdoor gardening are high on the activity list. This is a time to be nurtured and be nurturing. If the Taurus Moon occurs on an otherwise good day your powers of manipulation work strongly in your favor. Your ability to move to the head of the line or the top of the list if you step up and ask. Apply for a loan or mortgage. Excellent for planting flowers and beautiful bushes. If you are a Taurus, matters tend to go your way.

SUN PARALLEL VENUS (6th Sign to 5th Sign) - Exact Sep 1 2007
Brief description: This can be a social time for people to enjoy a special occasion. There may also be an event of women bonding together for a specific affair. There is an openness and desire to be agreeable. Engagements are likely to be expensive and extravagant. Creativity shows its best side today with much support from someone with influence.
For personal use: If you are single or want more in your personal relationships of both intimate or friendship, this social time allows opening for meeting new people that could become important to you for many years. Make esthetic choices that are from your heart.
For business use: Choose this time to enhance your public and business relationships. Have a sale and show your best work. Use art, color and entertainment for a positive long lasting impression.

    SATURN ENTERS VIRGO (6th Sign) - Sep 2 2007
You are hardworking, practical, and good at problem-solving. You are concerned with rules and regulations. You may follow a disciplined fitness routine, and could work in the field of health.

MOON GOES VOID OF COURSE AFTER TRINE MERCURY (2nd Sign to 6th Sign) - Sep 2 2007
