Retrograde Mercury will back up and reach the point of the New Moon on August 6, 2005 at 9:32 p.m. eastern time. We could hear an announcement around that day that will affect many. Maybe a presidential nominee or candidate of another sort, announcing their position. The retrograde Mercury would put a damper on their plans later. There are so many blind spots to consider over the month of August.

We may be compelled to make premature decisions regarding children, creative, or executive matters. Reports and memos may develop into major stories over the next nine months. You could begin to shift your finances into an more executive structure.

The New Moon is square (90°) Ceres in Scorpio that is positioned at a very precarious degree. Ceres the grieving mother and caretaker of children, the ill and aged is conjunct the point that draws global attention. Food for the masses, supplies may be down or shortages of grains and commodities could be in the news over the next couple of weeks.

With Jupiter conjunct the South Node our relationships require more space. This may be a good time to expand your social circle but not to develop closeness in your existing relationships. The difficult Mars square Saturn is temporarily behind us allowing a greater ease in the workplace.

The “greatest joy chart” (the ninth harmonic chart) of this New Moon shows an exact conjunction between Chiron and Uranus in Virgo. This can indicate the greatest amount of release can be through alternative healing methods, foods to treat various disorders, a shift in diet that supports a clearer mind. Also spontaneous healing through the act of organizing your surroundings in both the home and workspace.
