Artistic Representation of the Yod in the early morning sky
Newton, Massachusetts, September 24, 2005, 4:00 a.m EDT
Hurricane Katrina's
swelling seas, extreme winds and rainfall were the result of the Moon being out of bounds.
The same extremes have returned for
Hurricane Rita. The Moon Family of the Last Quarter on Sunday, September 25, 2005 is extreme because this Family's Full Moon occurred on
the day of the Indian Ocean Tsunami, December 26, 2004. The Sun's approach toward the Moon's nodes builds more pressure and this indicates that
the October 3, 2005 eclipse season is upon us. Mars remains at the apex of the powerful yod (an arrow-like configuration
of two planets, Jupiter and Pluto, separated at sixty degrees and both forming 150° aspects to Mars, the point of the arrow (apex)
(See
chart).
This aspect continues to influence activities beyond its first separation Thursday, continuing through October 17, 2005 when
retrograde Mars returns to the 150° quincunx with Pluto on the day of the lunar eclipse. Jupiter will be out of the yod by that
time. This configuration is increasing the intensity of all of the news over this past couple of weeks. Mars, now in slow
motion will retrograde on October 1, 2005. This intensifies this yod affecting many of us with life changing events.
We are busier and rushed with full schedules with multiple issues pressing for center stage. I have been hearing
reports from many (Jupiter) people this past week that their jobs (Mars) are on the line with reprimands (from Pluto).
This configuration can bring many positive results with the increased momentum and willingness to get things done.
With Pluto involved, the need to make permanent change is a driving force with Mars’ engine revved at the helm
and Jupiter continually adding an abundance of energy. Now with the “out of bounds,” Things get quirky with
much to clean up with all these quincunx aspects, including the Sun and Mercury each quincunx Uranus this week.
With so many 150° quincunx aspects this week, the theme is more of “life’s messy - clean it up.”
